Something fun! (but no knitting, sorry)

I saw this on another blog, and thought I'd try it myself. Go to Wikipedia and type in the month and day of your birthday. All sorts of groovy things come up.

Here are a couple of biggies from my birthday.

1912 - The British ocean liner RMS Titanic strikes an iceberg in the North Atlantic on its maiden voyage, plunging beneath the waves and taking with it over 1,500 lives at about 2:20 a.m. the following morning.

1865 - U.S. President Abraham Lincoln is shot in Ford's Theatre by John Wilkes Booth.

This is fun thanks! Hmm, maybe "fun" is a poor choice of words given the grim events that have occured on my birthday!
